Kentucky May-Daze Horse Trials (USEF competition through Preliminary level)
May 15-17, 2026
May-Daze offers riders the first opportunity to gallop across the famed cross-country course following the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event. In 2026, May-Daze will offer the Introductory level for less experienced horses and riders, and up through the Preliminary level for those competitors ready to embrace a greater challenge.

Oktoberfest provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate the season’s end in a festive atmosphere. This event features Introductory through Training levels, organized as two convenient one-day horse trials. Designed as a schooling show, it prioritizes affordability and a relaxed environment without compromising the elite facilities, professional officiating, and safety standards to which the Kentucky Horse Trials Series is committed.
