Kentucky May-Daze Horse Trials (USEF competition through Preliminary level)
May 16-18, 2025
The popular early-season May-Daze takes place a week earlier than previous years and continues the tradition of being the season’s first opportunity to enjoy the KHP cross-country course after the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event. Organized by the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation, this competition will offer Starter through Preliminary levels, with cross-country courses designed by David O’Connor.

Kentucky Summer Horse Trials (USEF competition through Intermediate level)
July 18-20, 2025
Filling a July weekend on the eventer’s calendar, the Kentucky Summer Horse Trials will offer Starter through Intermediate level. Formerly Champagne Run Horse Trials, this competition is operated by the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation and will expand competition opportunities and support a higher competitive level than was available in recent years. And for those aiming to move up, it may be just the right time to try that out mid-season. Courses are being designed by David O’Connor.

Kentucky Oktoberfest Horse Trials
November 1, 2025 – November 2, 2025
Join us for an end-of-season horse trials. This competition is ideal for anyone new to eventing and those who want a solid practice run or a move-up before wrapping up their eventing season. Oktoberfest is two one-day events and each day requires a separate entry. Competitors MAY enter both days, but will compete HC on Sunday if they choose to compete both days. The same level may be entered on both days, or a different level may be entered on Sunday. Horses entered both days may have a different rider on Sunday. Entry caps will be imposed for both days.
Note: Show jumping will take place in the Walnut Ring and Dressage will be in the Rolex Stadium
